The potent combination of L-Citrulline and Nitrosigine® deliver maximally enhanced blood flow.

This is achieved by maximising vasodilation, the widening of blood vessels. Both L-citrulline and Nitrosigine are powerful nitric oxide enhancers causing blood vessels to relax and widen. This allows the body to enhance blood flow where it is needed and aids in greater and longer lasting pumps. The greater circulation also shuttles oxygen to the muscles and removes cellular waste such as lactic acid more quickly, further boosting athletic performance, extending the body's time to exhaustion during training and boosting recovery after workout. Research on Nitrosigine shows that it rapidly increases NO blood levels, and keeps them elevated for quite a long time – significant increases are observed as soon as 30 minutes after ingestion, and last as long as six hours.

Higher NO levels also have benefits for general health. Nitric-oxide-driven vasodilation lowers blood pressure, and arginine supplementation, in particular, has been shown to have a significant anti-hypertensive effect.

Another way this formula boosts "the pump" is via Glycersize™, a patented and improved version of Glycerol. Glycerol is a great osmolytic hydration agent and, hence, ergogenic aid. By increasing the water content and water retention in your cells, glycerol can help protect them against exercise-induced stress while maximizing the efficiency of cellular function. This neurotransmitter is important for learning and memory but is also responsible for stimulating muscles to contract. By providing greater levels of this chemical via Alpha-GPC, we increase the potential for stronger signals for muscle contractions and therefore increased force production.

Mental clarity and focus is another significant area of focus for this supplement using Caffeine as a central nervous system stimulant. It achieves this by blocking adenosine receptors, adenosine being the compound which makes us sleepy throughout the day. Using a controlled dosage, caffeine is able to then restore alertness, wakefulness and combat drowsiness by stopping adenosine from binding to those receptors.

As caffeine breaks down, Adenosine atttaches to those free receptors resulting in the "caffeine crash". To address this problem, we use an amino acid, L-Theanine. Theanine is non sedating, working to improve mood alongside caffeine and to reduce some of the downsides of stimulants, such as jitteriness or anxiousness.
